The Dawn Is Nigh…

My first appointment with Vit.alab is tomorrow, so wish me lots of luck. The Hoff will be coming with me, and we will be armed with our complete, unabridged infertility history. I have never felt this well prepared! A new clinic, a new doc, a new beginning. I will give you the low down as soon as I get back. Please have fingers crossed that I won’t need to do another lap. I am hoping to leave there tomorrow with a big box of birth control, and a lovely short IVF protocol. (Realistically I will probably have to go back for a CD2 scan before all that….. but hey, I can dream can’t I?) There has been more good news in the blogosphere lately, along with some very disappointing BFN’s. This provides a very confusing mixture of hope and despair. Basically, I think the universe is saying, that there is no certain way of knowing which way things will go.

+ (oneliner style heehee!) you may have started something oneliner…

I would like to thank Baby Blues (do you still go by that name – you will always be BB to me!) – for the beautiful and inspiring bookmark sent to me via the Braces Bunch. Also to Cibele, for her warm and sincere card. It really does warm the cockles of my heart to receive something from the other side of the earth! I feel connected to you ladies in a way that really helps with the loneliness of being infertile in a predominantly fertile world. Ladies, fear not, I am furiously writing and sending bit by bit, you shall all hear from me sooner or later.

The house is coming along slowly. The living room is finished and it looks fantabulous… we also put up a new light fitting in the itsy bitsy teeny weeny entrance hall, and it is stunning. In my very humble opinion. Next, downlights in the bathrooms, painting in the spare bedroom, and ripping up the carpets for laminate flooring. Onward and upward we go.

I have a lot more to say, but so little time to say it! So until the next gripping episode, thanks for stopping by, and stay tuned!

You were actually the first to reach out to me from blogland by sending me Tertia’s inspiring book. The Braces Bunch is such a great idea! It’s a reminder that we are not alone, somewhere someone in real life is going through the same roller coaster of emotions.

I’m so excited for you and I will be right here cheering for you Mands. Lots of luck and prayers! Keep us posted.

Good luck with your appointment tomorrow. I bet you will win the award for Most Prepared Patient. Hopefully that makes for a very productive discussion and that things get moving quickly!!
